Shorebirds
Shorebirds refer to wildfowl that feed along
beaches and tidal flats. You've seen these delightful birds scurrying along beaches of
Nantucket, chasing the waves in and out, searching for food.
Shorebird decoys by S.R. White Carving are individually carved from kiln dried white pine,
hand painted with acrylic paints, then given an antiqued finish. Each carving is dated with
the "SRW©" brand, identifying it as a "WHITE" original.
A rustic base comes with each bird. The size of each piece may vary slightly.
Please note- These decoys are decorative and are not to be used outdoors or in the water.
Our Stilt Sandpiper is carved in an upright stance giving it a dignified look. Features
include glass eyes and carved wings.

which simulates it feeding on a minnow. Other features include glass eyes, split tail, and

position.
